ICR Group picks up the M&E contract for Flint Town redevelopment. Works start December 2016 for 18 months and is all part of creating a new future and style for Flint and its residents.

ICR Group based in Holywell Flintshire and specialises in the installation of mechanical and electrical systems and is looking forward to being part of the development to create a new future for town known for its ancient Castle.   The first phase of the development of demolishing the maisonettes and building a new housing estate has now begun.

ICR would prefer apprentices work on site to be from Flint Town and aims to develop the work skills for local youths looking to make a career for themselves. They ask residents of Flint especially Mums with sons to spread the word for this great opportunity.

Kevin Warburton, ICR MD says, ‘This Masterplan presents a great opportunity to shape Flints future. Improved standards of living is a direct link to improving ones quality of life and so I’m very pleased that we have been given this chance to help.  I’m really looking forward to seeing the completed project as it looks fantastic on the 3d plans. Well done to the local government for bring this project alive.’

David Bamford, ICR Directors  says ‘We hear a lot of talk about the lack of work opportunities in Flint, so we are over the moon to help with addressing this balance.  We have a great young person’s training programme here at ICR and we would like to work with Flints young men and women who are eager to learn a trade. We offer an opportunity to get hands on training, education and qualifications and importantly a pay check.’
